You are now walking along the Second Avenue, the middle one of the three lime tree avenues in Augustenborg Forest. It is 640 metres long and, together with Slotsallé the street opposite the Palace, forms a 1.3 kilometre long central axis that runs through the Palace grounds and the Forest.

The Second Avenue leads through the forest, past the sculpture park and the Three Oath-Oaks, and ends at the fjord, where you can follow a small path along the waterfront to the Bathing Huts.
