Please use the menu to navigate round the tour guide. On a mobile phone, the menu appears as three bars in the upper right corner. A list of topic headings appears. Select one and an overview of that topic will come up. To learn more about the topic, tap on the picture or ‘Read more’. The full text will open up. To hear a recorded version of the text, please click on the little ‘Play’ arrow in the white sound bar underneath the title.
The guide was developed principally as a web app for mobile phones. Whilst it is possible to use the guide on a larger computer, it is not optimised for large screens.
To use the guide on your mobile phone as you walk round Augustenborg, please save it onto your home screen:
iOS: Open Safari and head to the website app.augustenborg.dk. Tap the Share icon > Add to Home Screen and then tap the Add button. The guide is now displayed with an icon on your home screen. Tap the icon to launch the web app.
You can go back one page by swiping in iOS.
Android: Open Chrome and head to the website app.augustenborg.dk. A message appears at the bottom of the page. Tap Add to Home screen > Install. If the message is not displayed, you can tap the three dots on the browser bar at the top to add to your home screen > Install. The guide will now be displayed with an icon on your home screen. Tap the icon to launch the web app.
Take the web app with you around the town. The pages you have already loaded are saved and can be accessed off-line.
