The Augustenborg Project is a creative umbrella consisting of three different but closely related areas: Art Project, Food Project and Work Project.
In the summer of 2021, this inspiring art and food project opened in the most beautiful corner of Augustenborg with the Palace, Gardens, Fjord and Forest a stone’s throw away. The buildings of the former psychiatric hospital along Palævej now form the framework for art exhibitions, café, studios and hotel apartments.
The Augustenborg Art Project is an “art space” that presents innovative modern art with a focus on young and unrepresented artists. No project is too bold, no idea is too wild. The Augustenborg Art Project has an ongoing series of new exhibitions and events. It has exhibited works by new artists such as Francesco Pirazzi, who was educated at the Florence Academy of Fine Arts, as well as by iconic artists such as Niels Reumert.
